Never-before open to the public, Missouri River Whitetails offers some of the finest deer and turkey hunting in the Midwest. Our program was designed with experienced trophy hunters in mind.

We are located in Montgomery County, Missouri, a perennial leader in the state deer harvest. To keep our wildlife population healthy and abundant and to assure a quality hunt for all, only 6 hunters are allowed on the property per year. For that reason, we recommend that you book your hunt as far in advance as possible.

 

Access to the property is restricted to a select group of experienced trophy hunters who respect the animals. We shoot only mature animals and strictly adhere to guidelines set forth by the Quality Deer Management Association.

 

The terrain is a mixture of steep hills, rolling hills, pastures and fields, so your hunt can be as physically challenging or easy as you desire. A qualified and knowledgeable guide will work with you to make your hunt safe, successful, and enjoyable.

 

Other Activities

When you're not in the field, you may want to explore Hermann, Missouri, just across the Missouri River, a historic community famous for its German heritage and award-winning wineries. Hermann is the heart of Missouri Wine Country, with seven family-owned wineries within a 15-mile radius.

We offer all-inclusive packages, including the Sportsman & Lady Luxury Couples Package (see rates page for details), that include luxury accommodations and gourmet meals at our lodge. If you wish to make your own arrangements, Hermann has food and lodging options in all price ranges.

 

Getting Here

St. Louis Lambert Airport, is the closest major airport. Private planes may land at Hermann Municipal Airport (63M). If you're driving, we're located off Highway 19 between I-70 and the Missouri River. A meeting place will be agreed upon before your hunt and detailed directions will be provided.
